I've already upgraded to latest FW and did configuration reset and factory reset. None of the experiments above solved the problem. I got no response from Dahua support and the seller ignores my existence. I'm despaired and frustrated. **Please help** . Thanks, Shlomi

2) Remove any SD card from the camera. 3) Wait 10 mins. 4) Connect the ethernet cable to the camera and your router, you should hear a click when the cable is connected. 5) Wait 2 mins. 6) Connect the power cable to the camera. 7) Wait 5 mins for the camera to power up. 8) Locate the camera's reset button or recess.
All of the Dahua cameras use low voltage TTL RS232 but the NVR uses true RS232 serial which is much higher voltage. On the NVR you use a regular serial cable not a TTL cable. It is even possible that the much higher voltage serial signals from the NVR could damage the TTL converter cable.
1. THE OPERATION OF RESET. 1.1 The camera should connect power, click the reset button for at least 5 seconds until the camera restart, and then the camera will restore factory default setup. If there is a PWR indicator, you can check the indicator go off and on again. If it is a IR camera, you can check the IR LED turn on again.
